Web accessibility means that people with disabilities can use the Web. More specifically, Web accessibility means that people with disabilities can perceive, understand, navigate, and interact with the Web, and that they can contribute to the Web. Web accessibility also benefits others, including older people with changing abilities due to ageing.
How does EboxCMS deal with Web Accessibility?
Everything is done during the development of your website to ensure that it conforms to the WAI (Web Accessibility Initiative). All sites we develop confirm to a minimum Level A. How do we do this? Put simply, all of our websites are developed using CSS for page formatting and type handling. This means the code on the page is lighter making it easier for content reading software. What it also means is that if a visitor disables CSS completely, the website is still usable in a 'text only' format.
We treat web accessibility seriously and feel that accessible websites needn't be boring websites!
